Winter Park

The Orange County city of Winter Park (population just over 30,000), situated north of Orlando, was once considered a winter resort. Today, the arts-and-culture filled city includes Rollins College (Florida’s first four year college), Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art and Cornell Fine Arts.

The Scenic Olde Winter Park area is punctuated by small, winding brick streets and a canopy of old southern live oak and camphor trees, draped in Spanish moss. Here you will find a stunning collection of historical homes.

Within the city is the Mead Botanical Garden, a 47.6 acre park with amphitheater, butterfly garden and recreation center. Also within Winter Park, is the Scenic Boat Tour, one of the oldest attractions in the state of Florida, found at the end of Morse Blvd less than 5 minutes from Park Avenue. Enjoy an hour-long guided cruise through three of the five lakes joined by 2 canals on the tranquil Winter Park chain.

Park Avenue- Winter Park’s shopping, dining and cultural gem- boasts more than 140 boutiques, sidewalk cafes, and museums, all in the shadow of oak-canopied Central Park. From the tourism boom here in the 1890’s to today, Park Avenue has provided the citizens and visitors of Winter Park with an elegant place to stroll, dine and shop.
